Το GORGONEION είναι μια σύγχρονη, σκοτεινή επανερμηνεία της Μέδουσας μέσα στο Atonstar Music Universe.
Δεν παρουσιάζεται ως το τέρας του μύθου, αλλά ως μια γυναίκα που μετατράπηκε σε σύμβολο φόβου μετά τη βία και την τιμωρία που υπέστη. Το τραγούδι αντιστρέφει την οπτική: η κατάρα γίνεται στέμμα, το βλέμμα γίνεται δύναμη και το «τέρας» μετατρέπεται σε καθρέφτη για όσους το δημιούργησαν.
Μουσικά συνδυάζει dark trance metal, tribal ethno-industrial και glitch-baroque techno, με πολεμικά κρουστά, khomus jaw harp, trance arpeggios, distorted metal guitars, gothic organ textures και glitched soprano fragments.
Η KASSANDRA κρατά την κεντρική φωνή — από ψυχρό whisper και χαμηλό mezzo μέχρι επιθετικές κορυφώσεις — ενώ η ENNOIA εμφανίζεται στο instrumental break ως κατακερματισμένη soprano παρουσία που λειτουργεί περισσότερο σαν ρυθμικό όργανο παρά σαν δεύτερη lead φωνή.
Το αποτέλεσμα κινείται ανάμεσα στο αρχαίο τελετουργικό και τη μηχανή: αρπακτικό, αποκαλυπτικό και θεατρικό.
